  • Saturday 10th March, 10:30 am - 12:00 pm at Frome Canoe Club and elsewhere
    Big Litter Pick with Hope Frome
    To join in simply turn up at one of the following venues at 10.30am on Saturday March 10th. A co-ordinator will provide you with bin bags, pickers and instructions, but please wear suitable clothing, sturdy footwear and gloves. Children are very welcome, but need to be supervised by an adult. All volunteers are welcome to meet at St Catherine’s church hall café, Park Rd, after 12 for free tea and cake, and a chance to compare finds! Start points: Old Market Yard (Frome Canoe Club); The Mount (Mount Community Garden); Stonebridge (Tesco); St John’s Rd/ Ellworthy estate (Corner shop).

  • Sunday 20th May, 2:30 pm - 5:00 pm at Rodden Meadow
    Frome Picnic
    Bring friends, family and a picnic and enjoy Rodden Meadow.

Working parties
concentrate on some aspect of improving the appearance of the river and its surroundings. Bring tough gloves and sturdy footwear (preferably boots), and wear clothes that won't be ruined by catching on brambles etc.
Where and When
Unless otherwise stated, we meet at 10.30am, outside Frome Canoe Club, which is the building between the Cheese and Grain and the river.
